A Legacy of Service Since 1935

From humble beginnings to becoming the voice of the Mizo community

Founded in Aizawl onJune 15, 1935, the Central Young Mizo Association has grown from the Young Lushai Association into the most influential voluntary organization in Mizoram.
Originally established by Mizo and Welsh leaders to guide the youth in constructive use of leisure time, YMA has evolved into a movement with over4 lakh members across 47 groups and 805 branches.
Today, we continue to serve with faith, purpose, and unwavering commitment to the development of the Mizo society — upholding Christian ethics and fostering community spirit.
